Overview

• Start Date: Operating since August 2007.
• Target Group: Students in grades TK-6th.
• Cost: Free to all families.
• Operation Hours: Monday-Friday from school dismissal to 6:00 PM on school days.

Mission

The program focuses on creating a safe and welcoming environment where children can:

• Engage in meaningful social interactions.
• Build relationships.
• Enjoy hands-on activities that foster creativity and learning.
• Develop socially, emotionally, and physically in a supportive atmosphere.

Funding

• ASES and ELOP Funded Schools: Agnes Baptist, Chrysler, Eisenhut.
• ELOP-Only Funded Schools: Mary Lou Dieterich, Stanislaus Elementary.
• Priority Enrollment: Given to foster youth, homeless students, English language learners, and those eligible for free or reduced meals.

Program Highlights

1. Sign-In: Students check in directly after school.
2. Homework Support: 30-45 minutes daily for academic help.
3. Physical Activity: 45-60 minutes of structured activities like sports, yoga, and mindfulness.
4. Snack Time: Light snacks provided every afternoon.
5. Enrichment Activities: Focus on STEAM, including:
   • Robotics and engineering.
   • Science experiments and maker spaces.
   • Arts, crafts, cooking, and LEGO education.

This program provides an excellent resource for families, offering a combination of academic support, physical activity, and creative enrichment in a structured environment.

All of our programs are operating at or above full capacity and we are striving to provide services to as many students as possible. Our application process begins with the completion of our waitlist form. Completing this form will place your student on our waitlist and you will be contacted when we have an opening for enrollment.

Enrollment will be prioritized for students identified as foster or homeless youth, English language learners, and/or students who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. After priority placement, waitlisted students will be enrolled based on grade level availability and not necessarily on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reserve capacity or expedite registration for students with special circumstances.
